When we are not working we try to find time to create images that truly inspire us. My amazing wife, wardrobe stylist Sybile Kohn, spent her childhood growing up in places like, St. Barths, Tahiti and the Dominican Republic. She spent her days with other French expatriates on some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. As they grew into adults the two things that became ingrained in them were the carefree gypsy lifestyle of their youth and the food, fashion, art and culture of the jetsetters who vacationed on the islands.

These families were the inspiration for this shoot. Friends that have integrated their work into there lifestyle until the two have become one. People that value fashion and art as much as they do freedom. This group of amazing, inspiring people have come to be known as the Gypset.

As busy as this year has been, we finally found some time to squeeze in a little fun in August. With my son out of school for the summer we decided to take a little time off and do the things we love to do. All the hard work is worth it.  As much as I love what I do, holidays like this summer are just priceless.
