As busy as this year has been, we finally found some time to squeeze in a little fun in August. With my son out of school for the summer we decided to take a little time off and do the things we love to do. All the hard work is worth it.  As much as I love what I do, holidays like this summer are just priceless.

Hey check out a little behind the scenes. It just doesn’t seem like work.

If 2011 was great 2012 is proving to be epic. It’s been a whirlwind start to becoming yet another amazing year. There have definitely been some challenges along the way. “Hey you know the shoot we are supposed to do in three weeks, if we award it to you Monday,  can we shoot Friday?” With a great crew that has a can-do mindset we keep getting it done with great results.   From the beaches of Malibu to helicopter rides in Sedona, when your job is to create great images with your wife and your best friends it really never seems like work.

We decided the best way to launch our blog in 2012 was to start by saying thank you. A very big thank you to all the support crew. Some of you have been with us since the beginning and some are new to the craziness, but all of you are such a huge part of what made 2011 the busiest and most successful year in the history of my career.

Finally, the biggest thank you goes to our clients. So many great new agencies that put their trust in us and allow us to do what we do best. That is, produce photo shoots with amazingly talented people and ultimately create beautiful images. From the launch of Kim Kardashian’s perfume to Pepsi and Frito-Lay and everything in between the diversity keeps it exciting and the crews make it more fun than I could ever have hoped for in a career.
